Diffused Neologisms are those newly coined words which have already reached a significant audience (such as those perhaps used publicly by prominent figures in the popular culture or which have entered a significant subculture (e.g., jargon or lingo), but which have not gained full mainstream acceptance (at least in one of their uses).
