  1. A term used to refer to the action of driving around a reservation without a license to do so. i.e.: Driving a vehicle without a drivers' license or valid insurance/registration. Term spawned by the actions of Christopher Columbus in 1492, and every European explorer of North America that has arrived there since. Actual origin of the word is unknown as far as first-uttered, but commonly used in Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation

Usage: "My friends and I were Columbusing around the Reserve last night."
